Indoor Meetings
Regular (monthly) birding related talks by expert knowledgeable
speakers are a service to LOA members and non-members, also a
venue to hold general discussions about bird sightings, give feedback
to members and socialize. Belgrade group has monthly evening meetings
(on the second Friday of the month) at the Natural History Museum’s
Gallery in the Kalemegdan Park, starting at 7.30 pm and featuring
talks and slide shows.

Walks
Regular (monthly) guided walks to various habitats
satisfy the diverse requirements of the members. The walks cater
for new birders, young would be birders, old would be birders, serious
birders and social birders. Belgrade group’s birdwalks take place
on the Saturday morning following the monthly indoor meeting unless
otherwise announced (for the 2003 - 2004 winter season, waterfowl
watching & identification planned at the Danube promenade by
the “25 May” sports centre, next to Woolloomooloo floating café
starting from 10.00 am). Expect to spend from 30 minutes to an hour
in winter and two to four hours in summer on any birdwalk. |

An Annual dinner for all LOASM members as a service
to the members and which includes a good speaker and fun events. |

Camps
Camps for members at selected locations to encourage
member interaction. Bird lists to be compiled after the camp. |

Products
To make League for the Ornithological Action more
identifiable and visible in Serbia and Montenegro we aim to market
a range of products with our logo (to be designed). Suggested products
include shirts, hats, car stickers, bird feeders and baths, mugs
and cards. |
